Nanook Samuel emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words. Nanook's love was driven by progressive ideas, bold actions, and a strong foundation of support.

I am just another person born to this earth for a limited amount of time, and for the past 8 years, i feel it was Nanook that was teaching me the "Meaning of Life".
​
I am just like you, i wake up everyday, put on my pants one leg at a time, and set off to enjoy life.
​
I work fulltime, but during the years Nanook showed me that there was more to life than just Work, and just waiting for things to come to you.
When Nanook came to our family, he had this charm about him, he had this charisma that just drew people in, so for me, it was about how can I share this Magic with as many people as I could.
Life for Nanook and I was not all roses!!
Over the years Nanook suffered from 2 x events of Paralyses Ticks, Shaved fully, Multiple Grand Maul Seizures ( Never Ever want to see these again)
All of these Events Nanook and I went through together, without me being able to explain to him what was happing, I think he knew I was there for him and that I was going to look after him.
As each day / week / year passed, our adventures and our stories continued to build. For me, this was my mission in life. Enjoy being with my friend and share our stories and adventures with as many as we could. For me the stories may of repeated themselves, but to new people and families we met, the stories were only been told for the first time.

I explained this to fellow Volunteers that came along on our visits to the Childrens Hospital. I explained that I maybe repeating my stories , but to the children, it was their first time that they had heard this.
I never got sick of talking about Nanook, and hence, this Website was built to continue to tell you all about the Day and Life of our little Baby Boy Nanook Samuel Devine (yes, he was truly Devine as so many have told us)

This Photo is one of my Favorite, it was taken by a beautiful lady that captured Nanook's Soul on film and was able to show me from a distance Nanook looking into my soul and taking my heart into his.
​
Nanook's Paws may not be walking this earth anymore, but his stories, his adventures, his difference he made while on this Planet will continue for eternity.
​
Some final words that still ring loud to me are from a Mother with her 3 month baby girl in ICU clinging to life said to me -
​
" I feel it in my heart that Nanook saved my girl that day when he walked into our room,
He bought my girl back to me, He saved her Life, we will be forever grateful for what you had
done for our family"
​
And it is words like this that remind me, that we had done Good.
​
So, Thank you my Friend, Thank you for sharing your World, your Spirit , your Journey with me.
