Like all of us in life, we all need help and support from time to time.
Nanook was no different.
During his life he was supported by so many people, and companies for that matter.

The Wonderful Team of people that helped Nanook during his short stay on Earth. The countless visits over the years, from Dental Checks, Swabs for this therapy work and even two events due to Paralyses Ticks. Even in Nanooks Final hours and Minutes, this whole team were there for him trying to bring life back to him.
Every visit we made to the Hospital we were welcomed with open arms by all the staff. every time i called to make an appointment and told them it was for Nanook, they were ever so loving and slotted us right in and couldn't wait to see him.

Early in Nanooks Life we met a beautiful lady that took a shine to our little Polar Bear "Nanook".
Some years later the paths/paws of these two were to meet again.
From that day forward, this lady took Nanook under her wing and supported him like he was her own.
For nearly 5 years this lady supported Nanook on his journey through life. So Much , that she engaged her Company - Holistic Select / WellPets to sponsor Nanook as a Therapy Dog and support the work that he did and later on became a national support program for other Therapy Dogs.
The ever so supporting company of WellPets help support us in our journey in life. This was not just felt in Australia, but globally. Hearing stories of the WellPet team in Japan wanting to know all about him was truly amazing and showed the true spirit and nature of who Nanook truly was.
Nanook even got on the Skype call with Japan while we visited their head office in Sydney during our many road trips.
The day Nanook passed, i felt so hurt that i had to share the news with Nanooks Guardian Angel that he had taken his last breath and that he would not be coming home once more.
Its not often that people step into your life and turn it upside down, but this lady did this for Nanook and His Family.
So thank you Debbie Marsden for everything that you did for my Dear Nanook, and i know that you too feel his loss, but i also know that you carry him around with you and still talk about him. Words of kindness continue to flow from people you have introduced us to.

So , for now , "Thank You" and i am Sorry for your Loss Too.

I know this is not a topic that a lot of us like to think about or plan for, but we know that the day will one day come when we say goodbye one last time to our fur babies.
When Nanook passed, to be honest, i was a truly bloody mess, but the team at Pets in Peace where there to help and support with all the arrangements.
It has been over a year since that dreadful day that Nanook left us, but i remember it like it was yesterday.
The hours that followed Nanook leaving this earth, was when the realty kicked in that we had to think about, What next?
The Team from the Manly Rd Vets were very kind and caring about where too from hear.

My final farewell to Nanook was carrying him on a stretcher with 3 others to a cool place till the beautiful team from Pets in Peace were to collect him.
​
As i did not want Nanook to leave this earth and leave the unknown behind, the Pets in Peace Team transported Nanook to Gatton University to help understand the reason for us all why we lost Nanook.

In the days and weeks to come, the team were able to help me understand what we could do to help celebrate Nanooks Life and be able to remember him for weeks and years to come.
​
I cannot Thank Martin, Bev and Leanne from Pets in Peace enough for their support of who Nanook was and the work that he did.
We finalised how Nanook was to return to home for us and the many keepsakes that i could share with my family and all of you so they all could remember him.
​
The final memory that i had arranged was for Nanooks Prints and his ashes to be shared with the many companies that support Nanook in his life's Journey.

The support and the empathy that the whole team at Pets in Peace was , caring, professional and worked with my every need.
I cannot thank the team enough for everything that they had done for Nanook and my family, and its a service i can never repay, but know that the saw Nanook, were people that loved him just as much as you.

Nanook sits now in my Memory, and now yours too. So thank you Pets in Peace for meeting and loving my boy too.
